Gold Standard Sight Test
An extended eye examination including:
- The gold standard dilated examination which allows a far wider view of the inside of the eye.
- Taking retinal photographs. This makes it easier to see changes when comparing photographs rather than referring to written notes. These photographs allow detailed scrutiny of the critical structures of the eye at extremely high magnification. This is one of the major advances in optometry and eyecare in recent years.
- The Gold standard field of view test, fast threshold field testing.
- The Gold standard sight test is a marked extension of the standard sight test. Covering everything in the standard test and adding features which we can charge separately for. Giving a more integrated holistic examination.
